QUANTIC has the elegance of a sound explorer who crosses continents with the same ease as a tightrope walker. For over twenty years, Will Holland has been building bridges between tropical grooves, English soul and the pulsating beats of Colombian cumbia. His music is an endless travelogue, a mosaic of colors and rhythms that refuse to be framed. A free, demanding artist, always on the move, he has accompanied the history of radio and the festival like an underground presence, and to finally see him on stage at Circus sounds like a dream come true.

Where and when did you first hear it?
Right from the start of the festival, his name was already floating in the air. Alice Russell, whom he produced, was our first headliner, and Quantic was there in the background, like an invisible, familiar presence. Since then, he's continued to carve out his own path, multiplying projects, always with that fabulous groove that speaks directly to us. A friend of Nickodemus, a fellow traveler of so many artists we love, he's always been part of our landscape. After all these years, finding him in our Line-up is a natural surprise.

Cumbia. Soulfunk. Exploration. Not frozen words, but open doors. It's the wetness of Colombian nights, percussion that rolls like waves, dance that imposes itself. English soulfunk is all about class, precise groove and the elegance of a sound that pulses without forcing itself. And all the rest: the detours, the mixes, the sonic journeys that never cease to surprise.
If this were the soundtrack to a daydream, what would it sound like?
An English lord lost in a Colombian jungle, surrounded by animal instrumentalists. The vegetation is dense, the music both wild and refined. Brass roars like wild beasts, percussion leaps like monkeys, strings snake like vines. It's a tropical carnival, demanding and lush, where every note becomes a creature. And so do we.
Any anecdotes about Line-up 's career?
It was Fred from Sunska who whispered his name, confirming that it was the right time. The meeting was immediate: Quantic immediately understood the spirit of the festival, which is open, generous and free of rigid codes. We'd been dreaming of hosting it for a long time. Today, that dream has come true, but with the quiet logic of the obvious. Yes!
